My GREATEST Shinze Moment

My GREATEST Shinze moment has to be one of two things.

1. The day I met Shinze and he began his "rise to power."
2. The time Shinze came and chilled with me a a Christian camp in the Colorado Rockies for a week, and when we went hiking in the mountains alone at night.

1. I met Shinze originally because he was the roommate of one of my good friends, Scott Phelan, a massive man, bodybuilder (and I'm sure snorer, sorry Shinze!). Anyway, I met Shinze on move in day of my Junior year of school, way back in 2002, and I think he even met my parents that day too. I could tell just from our first meeting that this was gonna be one awesome dude! I think he even came with Scott Phelan (his roomie) and I when we went to get lunch after moving in. Needless to say, his English wasn't perfect that first day, but he improved SUPER quickly! And with his study habits and openness to having me proof read his papers, he is now one of the BEST writers in English I know! AND, he's the one who introduced me to Keisuke that year, and Josh and Eric in 2003! Wow, such awesome times! Holy crap!!! That reminds me! We all went to NEW ORLEANS for Spring Break the year before Hurricane Katrina put it all underwater! (Watch for those pics on the "Shinze Fanclub" website).

2. Sarah Ellis (a friend) somehow had some kind of effect on our time at that camp in Colorado. Anyway, Shinze wasn't going to go back to Japan that summer, but instead stay in the US for school, so he had a good week off (when we went to that camp). One night, Shinze and I went walking late at night under the stars (sooo romantic, hahaha) and he told me briefly about some of the beliefs of Japanese (or at least what he believes) about spirits in the mountains. So he said that nights alone in the mountains were really spooky, and that he would never be walking around the mountains at night alone. Hahahaha, he started to make ME a little nervous with that! And we joked with each other for a while, but it was a great time, made me feel good that he came out there with me! I've never been so connected to Shinze! Hahahaha, in a non-gay way of course! Of course! Hahahaha.

That dude is awesome! I totally wish I was him! What a sexy body! Hahahaha. And he's the one that introduced me to sooo many other people! Without him, my life would be TOTALLY different now. I would have NEVER come to Japan, because I would have never met Keisuke, who introduced me to Daisuke. And I would have never gotten to know any Japanese students (because he introduced me to so many...and actually, I think Japanese exchange students are my FAVORITES now), and then I would have never had such awesome families to take care of me in Japan if I ever did come!

Thanks a million Shinze! Couldn't have done it without you!
